Pick & Place with Automgen

Follow the next steps to configure AUTOMGEN to work with Factory I/O:

1. Double click on Configuration > Post-processors > PC > I/O Drivers.

2. Select the tcp-ip client driver from Driver(s) available and click on Add.

3. Click on the previously added tcp-ip client driver and click on Set parameters.

   

4. Insert the Server name or the IP address of the computer where Factory I/O is running. If they are running on the same computer you may use localhost as the server name.

5. Insert 16 as the Number of digital inputs to read from server and the Number of digital outputs to write to server.

6. Insert 8 as the Number of input words to read from server and the Number of output words to write to server.

7. Insert 200 as the First input word number on both Client side and Server side.

8. Insert 300 as the First output word number for both Client side and Server side.

   

   Note that the number of Digital and WORD inputs/outputs defined in AUTOMGEN must match the ones defined in Factory I/O. These values vary from scene to scene.

9. Double click on Configuration > Post-processors > PC > Run and change the Value in milliseconds to 8.
